Leadership is centered around initiative. Be the person that takes actions; your accomplishments are more important than your title. Have priorities and communicate those priorities to others to delegate and even out your burdens. Go the extra mile and try to be more than just a random student to teachers, but don’t force a connection. Really take advantage of opportunities you are given and continue to look for more. Because writing so many essays can be stressful, lay out all the prompts in an overview and be time efficient by starting early. After writing your essay, read it out loud; it should fit your voice, and it should be written well enough that you are proud to say it.
